CONCRETE STRATEGIES is seeking a Project Accountant in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and job cost systems. Responsibilities include managing job budgets, preparing invoices, and performing audits.
Requirements include an Associate degree or progress towards a BS/BA in Accounting and 2-3 years of experience in accounting with a general contractor or subcontractor. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.
The Project Accountant will display a good working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost systems. They must be able to answer questions from project managers or anyone regarding the status of an accounts payable or receivable invoice and know what information the job cost system can provide to project managers and what reports are available to them. Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritizing workload are essential.
