Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Project Accountant to support monthly estimates, revenue calculations, and cost control for ongoing projects in Spring, TX. The role covers IFRS 15 compliance, journal entries, and monthly closing activities, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cost or project accounting, a Finance/Accounting degree, and ERP experience. This is a direct-hire, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cost accounting or project accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
• ERP experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS required

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly revenue recognition calculation, prepare journal entries and ensure adherence to IFRS 15 contact regulations.
• Prepare monthly estimates at completion, preparing the EAC workbook, and review with project manager for management presentations.
• Review project and facility costs against budget to ensure proper cost allocation.
• Forecast weekly project forecasts including costs, invoicing and revenue calculations.
• Monitor project billing milestones to ensure timely billing and collection.
• Assist with bids & proposals, review new contracts to assist IFRS revenue recognition memos.

NEW Direct Hire opportunity in Spring, TX

Salary $90k-100k

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly revenue recognition calculation, prepare journal entries and ensure adherence to IFRS 15 contact regulations.
• Preparation of monthly estimates at completion, preparing the EAC workbook, analyzing, reconciling and review with project manager to facilitate presentation to management.
• Review project and facility costs as compared to budget to ensure costs are being allocated properly.
• Forecasting – prepare weekly project forecasts including costs, invoicing and revenue calculations.
• Monitoring project billing milestones and ensure they are being billed and collected in a timely manner.
• Assisting with bids & proposals, reviewing new contracts to assist with preparation of IFRS revenue recognition memos.

Education and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in cost accounting, project accounting, or financial & planning analysis.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Experience with an ERP system is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards required.
