Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Accountant to support multiple construction projects and partner closely with Project Managers on accounting, billing, subcontractor compliance, and project reporting. The role requires GC experience and the ability to manage several active projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of GC experience, can manage several active projects, and is proficient with owner billings, SOVs, change orders, lien waivers, and subcontractor invoicing to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction/project accounting experience.
• Experience working for a General Contractor (GC).
• Experience using Skyline construction accounting software.
• Experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Experience with owner billings, SOVs, change orders, subcontractor invoicing, and lien waivers/compliance tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Insight Global is looking for a Project Accountant to support multiple construction projects and partner closely with Project Managers on accounting, billing, subcontractor compliance, and project reporting. This person should come from a General Contractor environment and be comfortable managing several active projects at once.

Locations: Walnut Creek, CA , San Francisco, CA , Santa Clara, CA , and Santa Monica, CA

Required Skills & Experience

• - 5+ years of construction/project accounting experience
• - Experience working for a General Contractor (GC)
• - Experience using Skyline construction accounting software
• - Experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously
• - Experience with:
• Owner billings
• Schedule of Values (SOVs)
• Change orders
• Subcontractor invoicing
• Lien waivers and compliance tracking
• - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• - Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 CRE
• - Experience with Textura
• - Experience working for mid-sized to large General Contractors
• - Exposure to project start-up and close-out processes
• - Experience tracking subcontractor insurance and licensing compliance
