Job summary

Key People in Fort Wayne is seeking a Project Accountant for on-site work with a growing construction leader. You’ll manage project finances from setup to monthly billing and partner with project managers to monitor budgets and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to solve problems under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly self-motivated with excellent communication and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project finances from setup to monthly billing using Sage 300.
• Collaborate with project managers to track budgets, analyze risks, and identify savings.
• Handle vendor compliance, accounts payable, and sales/use tax.

• Manage project finances from setup to monthly billing using Sage 300.
• Partner with project managers to track budgets, analyze risks, and spot savings.
• Handle vendor compliance, accounts payable, and sales/use tax.

What you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Knack for solving problems under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Highly self-motivated
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
