Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local is seeking a Project Manager to provide consulting services to a Business Unit or customer account and help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

You will manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, coordinating with clients on scope, budget, schedule, risk, and governance to ensure successful delivery from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience or combination of experience and education.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Coordinate with clients to prepare scope of work, resources, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality, and risk.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or qualifications.
  • Conduct RFPs, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations for clients.
  • Implement project governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and timely project documentation.
  • Direct the project delivery team with guidance to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track progress and report status and variances.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Provide innovative solutions using standard principles and techniques.

About The Role
  • As a Project Manager you will be responsible for providing consulting services to a Business Unit or customer account, to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
