Job summary

Candidates must be registered nurses based in New Jersey with at least two years of contact center experience.

The Progyny Care Advocate will be responsible for using their excellent customer relations and patient care experience to handle various interactions with members via telephone, e-mail, and secure messaging. Known as PCAs, the role consists of onboarding new members to the Progyny benefit and interacting with existing members to assist them with ideal use of their benefits based on their specific journey and/or family building goals. The comprehensive Progyny Benefit covers and assists members in the areas of fertility, preconception, menopause, and pregnancy & postpartum which the Progyny Care Advocate will navigate the members through to successful outcomes. This is a highly administrative contact center position that involves strong attention to detail, prioritization and organization.
What you will do...
    Own the member relationship by continuously educating members about Progyny and their personalized benefits, empowering them to make informed decisions and optimize their journey.
    Onboard members seeking to utilize Progyny’s benefit by capturing demographics, confirming eligibility, and providing detailed benefit information using internal resources.
    Provide ongoing concierge service for members via telephone, email, and secure messaging.
    Address member inquiries and proactively research high quality solutions to present.
    Work cross-functionally with internal teams to adequately handle member escalations and inquiries.
    Serve as a liaison between members and clinics, including scheduling appointments.
    Drive continuous improvement by utilizing internal learning opportunities presented for growth and personal development.
About you...
    You must be a registered nurse based in: New Jersey
    2+ years of experience in a contact center environment, preferably in a healthcare/insurance environment.
    Excellent customer service, strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills - ability to communicate accurately and concisely
    Ability to effectively manage evolving priorities, multiple projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
    Knowledge of fertility industry and patient procedures, is a plus
    Shift times for this role are as follows: 11:00am-8:00pm EST or 12:00pm-9:00pm EST

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the hourly [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $38.00/hour - $42.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
