Progyny Care Advocate – Registered Nurse, New Jersey

Overview

Role Summary

The Progyny Care Advocate (PCA) leverages excellent customer relations and patient care experience to interact with members via telephone, email, and secure messaging. The PCA's primary responsibilities include onboarding new members to the Progyny benefit and assisting existing members in utilizing their benefits effectively, particularly in fertility, preconception, menopause, and pregnancy & postpartum areas. It is a highly administrative contact center position requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage Member Relationships: Educate members about Progyny and their benefits, empowering informed decision-making.
  2. Onboard Members: Capture demographic data, confirm eligibility, and provide detailed benefit information.
  3. Provide Concierge Service: Support members through telephone, email, and secure messaging channels.
  4. Resolve Inquiries: Address member questions and research solutions proactively.
  5. Collaborate Internally: Work with internal teams to handle escalations and inquiries.
  6. Coordinate Appointments: Liaise between members and clinics, including scheduling.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Utilize learning opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must be a registered nurse based in New Jersey.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a contact center, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent work ethic and good judgment.
  • Knowledge of the fertility industry is a plus.
  • Shift times are 11:00 am-8:00 pm EST or 12:00 pm-9:00 pm EST.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
