Cretex Medical is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to support the Stamping Business Unit. You will build, maintain, and improve fixtures, gauges, and progressive tooling, applying advanced technical skills to troubleshoot and enhance production quality.

The role focuses on tooling reliability, continuous improvement, and collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. 1st shift operates 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety and

Qualificações

Technical degree or equivalent machine tool experience.
3+ years building or maintaining progressive tooling.
Strong knowledge of cutting and forming; able to troubleshoot by reading a progressive strip.
Root-cause analysis and effective solutions in tooling.
Clear communication with production, engineering and quality teams.

Responsabilidades

Perform maintenance on production-ready stamping tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Accurately document all activities in required databases and records.
Troubleshoot tooling issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with team to apply best practices in maintaining progressive tooling.
Monitor and refine toolroom processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Set up and operate manual toolroom equipment to produce tooling components, fixtures, and parts.
Set up and operate toolroom measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with focus on safety and quality.
