Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a full-time 3rd shift (7p) at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, perform assessments, plan and implement care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requires nursing degree with active RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required by area. BSN preferred. Must be able to work independently and within a team, and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities essential.
• Proficiency in infection control standards and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and execution of care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
