Description

Nurse Technician - Telemetry - Part-Time Nights

At New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, nurse technicians are vital care providers at the bedside. They serve as key contacts for patients and families, bringing energy and compassion to their roles. Responsibilities include providing comfort, performing select care duties under RN supervision, and maintaining a safe environment. This part-time night shift (11:45pm - 7:45am) involves four shifts per week.

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of EKG and Phlebotomy experience

Required Criteria

• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant Certificate with EKG and Phlebotomy Certificates
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights, with varying assistance, and possess normal sensory functions with corrections.
