Job summary

Truman Medical Center's Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN for a full-time shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. The role involves assessing patients, planning and delivering care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

We encourage mentoring of students and ongoing professional education within a supportive, patient‑centered environment. Compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• BSN or RN specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
