Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PCU for a Progressive Care Unit in El Paso, Texas. This full-time position supports the CNO in delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating patient care within the nursing process.

Required: RN licensure, 1 year RN experience for PRN, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable; preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing. Duties include supervising staff and ensuring safety and efficient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• AHA BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care.
• Supervise staff and coordinate patient care per shift.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Follow safety, risk management, and infection control standards.
• Be familiar with hospital emergency codes and respond accordingly.
