IU Health Fishers is growing its Adult Progressive Care Unit team and is seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

This role focuses on progressive care and step-down patients, with strong interdisciplinary support, opportunities for professional growth, and openings across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ADN or BSN accepted, with BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of recent acute-care nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtained within the organization's designated timeframe.
• Ability to assess and manage patients with complex medical, cardiac, respiratory, neurologic, and post-procedural needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality care to PCU/stepdown patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to care plans.
