Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Great Falls, MT is hiring a Progressive Care nurse to care for hemodynamically stable and select unstable patients on the medical/surgical unit. You will provide physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural support, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in discharge planning.

The role requires current Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS or within 6 months, and previous Medical/Surgical or Critical Care or Progressive Care experience; you will

Qualifications

• Degree from a nursing program.
• Practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care or Progressive Care Nursing is required.
• Current State of Montana RN Licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on medical/surgical unit.
• Support physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs of the patient.
• Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
• Discharge planning and collaboration with care team.
