Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a part-time, day-shift Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. The role is 0.6 FTE (24 hrs/wk) with a day shift that includes every third weekend.

You will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The unit emphasizes compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Indiana RN license.
• If hired after Jan 1, 2014, must obtain BSN within 5 years or pursue certification in area of specialty; certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services and assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with the nursing and clinical team to deliver quality care.
• Prioritize high-risk procedures and implement safe, efficient care.
• Document assessments and interventions within established guidelines.
