Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide expert clinical care in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure safe patient-centered care across the Progressive Care Unit.

The role requires FL RN licensure (compact acceptable) and a nursing diploma or ASN, with BSN preferred. BLS is required, and prior acute care experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and communication skills; ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
