Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, efficient care in a high-acuity setting. You will join a supportive team with staffing resources and advanced patient monitoring technology.

Qualified candidates hold Florida RN licensure (compact acceptable), a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS certification. Prior acute care experience and strong communication skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN licensure or appropriate compact licensure with FLRN active within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patient records including test results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
