Job summary

HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a high-acuity environment.

You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients, educate patients and families on medications, and maintain medical records.

Florida RN licensure with BLS is required; BSN preferred. Join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact license acceptable with active FL license within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records, posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
