HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a high-acuity unit. You'll assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care while educating patients and families.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), current BLS, and prior acute care experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient care delivery within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse or compact license; FL RN active within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills; PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including tests and exam results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
