Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit day shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care on a 28-bed unit, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and respond to emergencies to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure (state or compact), BCLS and ACLS, 0–2 years in acute care, strong assessment and documentation skills, and the ability to manage complex patients and high-acuity conditions.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (state or compact).
• BCLS and ACLS certification required.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a 28-bed Progressive Care Unit.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR and code team activities.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Use clinical judgment to develop and evaluate care plans.
