Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas City area seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, and collaborate with providers to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, documenting care in the medical record, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license (Registered Nurse) and relevant credentials

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes
• Perform procedures and nursing tasks as ordered by the physician
• Document the administration of care in the medical record timely and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
