Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN acts as an advocate to support an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities include admission and shift assessments, documentation, medication administration, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care. No travel required.

Qualifications

• RN license and diploma required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Document administration of care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
• Coordinate care with physicians to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
