Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

You will assess patient status, perform provider-ordered procedures, document care in the medical record, and monitor responses to prescribed medications.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers.
• Document care in the patient record and monitor medication administration.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
