Job summary

Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (acute step-down). This full-time 12-hour shift offers a 0.90 FTE and a path to growth in a fast-paced hospital environment. We welcome both new graduates and experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited nursing program preferred.
• Nursing specialization in general acute care.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients in the Progressive Care Unit with monitoring and life-saving interventions.
• Collaborate with other specialties and educate patients and families.
• Operate within EPIC electronic charting system and maintain bedside documentation.
