Job summary

TalentBurst is hiring a Progressive Care Registered Nurse in Winchester, MA. 12-hour nights, 3 days per week, 13 weeks contract at Winchester Hospital. Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly; floating to ED holds, inpatient holds and PACU as required.

Shift: 12H Night 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM; must be able to titrate pressors. BLS-AHA required; ACLS-AHA preferred; Epic experience required. Travel from BilH facility noted; start soon.

Qualifications

• RN with Progressive Care Unit experience.
• BLS-AHA certification required.
• ACLS-AHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a progressive care/unit setting with 1:3-5 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Titrate pressors as directed.
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units as needed.

Progressive Care Registered Nurse
Winchester, MA

Shift -12H Night 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Facility: Winchester Hospital
Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked
Comments And Notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
12H Night shift,
Every other weekend will be required. (Weekends for days - Sat and Sun, weekends for nights will be Fri, Sat, Sun). Floating occurs in 4 hour blocks while on shift - while floating every 4 hours is rare, it could happen.
BLS-AHA required. ACLS-AHA, NIHSS preferred.
MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE PRESSORS - please include in write up. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. If no prior travel, level 1 trauma will be required. Epic experience required. Ratios will be between 1:3-5 and will be expected to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units.
Day one pass/fail testing will be administered. Relias practice tests will be available via Relias. Must be separated from BILH for a min of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract). Weekly start dates (Mondays). IVS to manager for approval.
