Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit Weekend Work Program. This RN provides high-acuity, step-down care for complex medical and post-surgical patients, performing thorough assessments, medication administration, telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring.

The nurse collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, coordinates discharges, educates patients and families, and documents accurately in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license and be in good standing.
• Experience or proficiency in telemetry monitoring and high-acuity care is preferred.
• Ability to perform thorough assessments and medication administration.
• Comfort with step-down/post-surgical patient care and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities
