Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our progressive care unit team. We value teamwork, patient-centered care, and staff who are eager to expand their skills in a supportive environment.

We offer a Weekend Work Program—work every Saturday and Sunday, two shifts, and be paid for three—within a hospital recognized for stroke care and STEMI services in Johnson County.

Qualifications

• 1 year of applicable clinical experience.
• Current KS RN license (NURSYS).
• Associate degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process.
• Provides patient care and supervises other staff.
• Coordinates the plan of care for assigned patients and consults with health care team as needed.
• Demonstrates proficiency and adherence to policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborative, resourceful and positive nurses who empower and teach others.

Shift Details: Weekend Work Program- Days. Must work every Saturday & Sunday- work 2 shifts, get paid for 3!

The Work

• Utilizesthe nursing process


• Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff


• Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes


• Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
