Prime Healthcare is seeking a Progressive Care CNA to join our team at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. The PCU CNA will support nurses in a step-down unit, delivering direct patient care to patients requiring close monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds a current CNA certificate, BLS, and knowledge of medical terminology, with six months of acute care experience preferred. Full-time position with day shifts and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Six months’ acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks to maintain hygiene and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Observe for changes and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with basic procedures under nurse supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and infection control.
