Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, invites applications for a Full-Time Registered Nurse - Assistant Nurse Manager in the Progressive Care Unit at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
The ANM supports the Nurse Manager in 24/7 unit operations, staff development, and evidence-based practice implementation. Preferred candidates have leadership experience in inpatient nursing, strong clinical judgment, and a track record of improving patient
Formación
- Requires English proficiency and licensure as a registered nurse.
- Licensure: current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in any US state or territory or D.C.
- BSN preferred; ADN or Diploma acceptable with experience.
- State licensure obtained prior to permanent appointment after bridge program completion.
Responsabilidades
- Delivers and supervises nursing care using the full nursing process.
- Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team to meet patient education and self-management goals.
- Leads and mentors staff; ensures orientation, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and organizational policies.
