Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Programs Manager to lead customer experience and drive strategic direction for growth within key accounts.

The role reports to the Programs leadership and involves cross-functional coordination across account teams, operations and finance. The position emphasizes developing long-term plans, improving contractual performance and maximizing client value while maintaining strong relationships and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant logistics or account management experience.
• Confirmed logistics or supply chain management experience.
• Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated account management support across issue resolution, financial performance, contract adherence and pricing.
• Offer recommendations for strategic initiatives and manage client expectations.
• Handle contracts for assigned accounts and lead account-driven activities.
• Develop short- and long-range plans and goals for the organization.
• Ensure attainment of annual profit, efficiency and quality goals at client engagements.
• Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities.
• Inspire and promote a Lean culture.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Provide dedicated account management support in several areas, including issue resolution, financial performance, adherence to contract terms and solution design and pricing
• Handle customer expectations and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
• Handle the contracts for assigned accounts as well as all account-driven activities
• Develop short-term and long-range plans and goals for the organization
• Ensure attainment of annual profit, efficiency, and quality goals at each client engagement
• Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities
• Inspire and ensure a Lean culture

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 4 years of relevant experience
• Confirmed logistics or supply chain management experience
• Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective, reciprocal work relationships within and outside of the company
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills; able to be conclusive, results-oriented, and strategic in thinking and approach
