Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Programs Manager to oversee customer experience and drive strategic direction for account growth. The role focuses on contract adherence, pricing, and cross-functional coordination.

You will develop short- and long-range plans, lead Lean initiatives, and manage multiple accounts on a 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm). A 4-year logistics background and a related degree are preferred.

• Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated account management across issue resolution, financial performance, contracts, pricing, and solution design.
• Handle customer expectations and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives.
• Manage contracts for assigned accounts and all account-driven activities.
• Develop short-term and long-range plans and goals for the organization.
• Ensure attainment of annual profit, efficiency, and quality goals at each client engagement.
• Direct capital expenditure and asset deployment activities.
• Inspire and ensure a Lean culture.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Provide dedicated account management support in several areas, including issue resolution, financial performance, adherence to contract terms and solution design and pricing

• Handle the contracts for assigned accounts as well as all account-driven activities

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 4 years of relevant experience
• Confirmed logistics or supply chain management experience
• Superior knowledge of the supply chain vertical

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective, reciprocal work relationships within and outside of the company
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills; able to be conclusive, results-oriented, and strategic in thinking and approach
