Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating activities is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Internet resources and basic technology.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (3+ years).
• Strong customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement adult-centric activities and events.
• Develop a balanced monthly program calendar with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical and recreational activities.
• Coordinate external groups or individuals to perform for residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships.
• Assist Entertainment & Programming in arranging medical transportation and outings within guidelines.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Every Other Weekend.

The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing overall support to the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events
• Assist in the development of the monthly program calendar to ensure it is equally balanced with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities
• Assisting in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents
• Actively influence and encourage residents to participate in activities using positive relationships and personalized interactions
• Programing Coordinators assist the Director ofEntertainment & Programming in providing medical transportation to residents within the community guidelines, as well as innovative and interesting outings and excursions
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicle

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred, but not required
• Must be proficient in the use of Internet resources and demonstrate an understanding and use of current technology
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three (3) years of driving experience
• Strong customer service skills are required
