Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Program Coordinator for Memory Care in Denver. The role focuses on creating and leading engaging activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver programs tailored to a diverse senior population, ensuring safety and inclusivity.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with the care team to provide meaningful experiences for residents.

Qualificações

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Experience as Programming Coordinator (Activities) is preferred.
• Proficient with Internet resources and current technology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement adult-centric activities and events.
• Develop monthly program calendar with balanced cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Assist in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist in providing medical transportation and organizing outings as directed.
• Help residents enter and exit community vehicles.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-6pm.

The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing overall support to the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events
• Assist in the development of the monthly program calendar to ensure it is equally balanced with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities
• Assisting in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents
• Actively influence and encourage residents to participate in activities using positive relationships and personalized interactions
• Programing Coordinators assist the Director ofEntertainment & Programming in providing medical transportation to residents within the community guidelines, as well as innovative and interesting outings and excursions
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicle

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred, but not required
• Must be proficient in the use of Internet resources and demonstrate an understanding and use of current technology
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three (3) years of driving experience
• Strong customer service skills are required
