Programming Coordinator/Activities - Memory Care

Schedule: Part Time, Every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Program Coordinator Memory Care helps create and lead engaging programs that maximize resident involvement and improve their quality of life.

The responsibilities include:

• Supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of adult-centric, meaningful activities and events.
• Developing the monthly program calendar to include cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational activities.
• Organizing performances and instructive sessions with external groups, organizations, and individuals.
• Encouraging resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assisting the Director, Entertainment & Programming, with medical transportation and planning outings and excursions.
• Helping residents with entering and exiting community vehicles.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A friendly attitude, eagerness to learn, open-mindedness, and a desire to enhance residents' lives.
• Experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with internet resources and current technology.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years old with 3 years of driving experience.
