Qualifications

• Six months to two years of related experience.
• Minimum 1-year computer programming experience (PL/I, Java, or similar).
• 6 months HTML experience at a basic level.
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Willingness to work outside regular banking hours and be on-call 24/7.
• Knowledge of SQL and general coding concepts.
• Basic working knowledge of database systems.

Responsibilities

• Creates, designs and implements custom programming in Symitar software, including reports, FM scripts, batch jobs.
• Supports IT Team Members and Business Analysts to resolve Symitar issues and provides status updates.
• Stays up to date on Symitar enhancements and researches options to improve the system.
• Documents created code in accordance with company standards.
• Works within CU policies including Security and compliance regulations.
• Assists with testing and contingency planning to ensure availability of applications.
