Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. is seeking a Programmer Analyst in the Lansing, MI area. This W2 contract role requires onsite presence and local candidates only, due to the need for on-site collaboration and support.

The candidate will design, build, test, and support both new and existing software applications, including a mobile app for child support, and will work closely with Architects and Analysts to ensure solutions meet business goals and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Java enterprise application development.
• 5+ years experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years experience with Angular for single-page applications.
• 5+ years experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test application programs including new development and enhancements to existing modules.
• Provide production support including issue analysis, bug fixes, testing, and deployment to production environments.
• Collaborate with Application Architects and Business Analysts to confirm and validate both functional and technical designs.
• Develop and maintain necessary technical documentation and participate in design reviews as scheduled.
• Analyze requirements, code, and test simple to moderately complex program modules ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Apply sound technical industry and domain knowledge to all tasks and project work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in coding practices, system performance, and team processes.

Job Title: Programmer Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI (Open to candidate local to the Lansing, Michigan area or those willing to relocate from DAY ONE at their OWN EXPENSE)

Type: W2 Contract

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

• Experience of Java Strong object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with Java-based enterprise application development (5+ years)
• Experience of Spring Boot Experience with creating RESTful APIs and using Spring Boot for building scalable and maintainable applications (5+ years)
• Experience of Angular Proficient in developing responsive single-page web applications using Angular (5+ years)
• Experience of SQL Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting; experience with relational database systems (5+ years)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning
• Experience supporting Child Support applications programs or initiatives

The Application Development Associate is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting both new and existing software applications including Mobile app for child support.
