Job summary

CTB, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. You will perform software analysis and development for Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle CPQ, and RF Smart in cloud environments.

You will collaborate with end users and vendors to translate business requirements into robust solutions, configure ERP/SaaS applications, and support ongoing operations. A bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Oracle experience preferred.
• 3+ years programming in a business environment with Oracle or similar cloud software.
• Oracle Certification preferred.
• Strong skills in configuring and managing software; web-based apps, SQL databases, Java, XML.
• Experience with RF Smart applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Leadership/behaviors: customer focus, self-starter, problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support and configure Oracle ERP SaaS and RF Smart SaaS.

What You Will Do:

As the Programmer Analyst, you will perform software analysis and development as part of a team that supports various computer systems, including Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle CPQ web-based e-commerce system, and RF Smart barcode software.

What You Will Accomplish:

• Support and configuration of Oracle ERP applications running as SaaS in the cloud.
• Support and configuration of RF Smart applications running as SaaS in the cloud.
• Communicate effectively with others in IT and with end users to clearly understand business requirements and design/develop appropriate solutions.
• Work with users and software vendors to resolve software problems.
• Work as part of a support and development team with others in the IT department.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of IT Business Solutions
• Leads/assists on projects ensuring the scope and timelines are met.

Position Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or similar field; would consider combination or coursework and experience within a business environment, such as Oracle.
• Experience: 3+ years of programming experience within a business environment, preferably with Oracle or similar cloud-based software.
• Certification(s): Oracle Certification is preferred.
• Functional Skills: Strong background in configuring and managing software; developing and supporting web-based applications, SQL databases, java programs, XML files, and related technologies.
• Technology Aptitude/Skills: Excellent user skillset with Microsoft Office tools; Previous experience with Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or Dynamics; Previous experience with RF Smart applications.
• Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership/Behaviors: Excellent customer focus, self-starter, strong problem-solving skills, calm demeanor, independent learner, highly motivated, with the ability to stretch abilities as more complex projects arise.

Core Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm (schedule can be somewhat flexible; 8-9 hours within this timeframe)

Typical Work Week:

M-F; some weekend hours possible for urgent matters; 40-45 hours/week on average
