Job description

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, is a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are seeking a full-time Programmer/Software Developer to support a government agency based in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia area. This is a remote exempt position.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Senior Developer in creating software solutions by studying requirements, analyzing information needs, consulting with customers and IT management; studying system flow, data usage, and work processes; performing software design using development fundamentals, debugging, testing, and deploying solutions.
2. Assist Database Developer in monitoring and maintaining relational database management systems (RDMS) to optimize performance, resource use, and physical database implementations.
3. Assist Senior Programmer in modifying and maintaining code and scripts for all supported systems/applications within the customer's technical environment.
4. Assist in documentation development, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and writing clear, maintainable code.
5. Assist with test review, analysis, witnessing, and certification of developed solutions.
6. Assist with monitoring and managing database backups, logs, and journals; install, maintain, and upgrade database software; restore and recover data as needed.

Requirements:

1. One to three (1-3) years of demonstrated experience as a Programmer/Developer in application analysis, design, development, and delivery.
2. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
3. IAT Level Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE.
4. Experience with various COTS software/hardware and network products; Windows OS, SQL, MS Office, etc.
5. Experience as a SharePoint Developer in analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering web-based applications.
6. Programming experience with PowerShell, Visual Studio .NET, JavaScript, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
