Job summary

Nastech Global in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Programmer Mid to support engineering automation on-site. The role requires obtaining an IAT Level II Baseline Certification within the first three months and working in a security-cleared environment.

You will develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Python, operate CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with a distributed team in Windows environments. The position offers W2 terms with benefits and a Secret clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 1–2 years hands-on automation on site.
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 3 months.
• Ansible knowledge and Windows; CI/CD tooling experience.
• Capable of supporting programs in classified environments with SIPRNet access.

Responsibilities

• Support program execution in classified environments and NMCI access.
• Design, code, test, and maintain automation scripts.
• Work with CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab) in a distributed team.

Rate: $35 an hour W2 + Benefits(Apart from PTO)

• Skilled and disciplined to work with a distributed team
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, forward thinking, and innovation-driven environment
• Basic understanding Azure DevOps workflows, projects, custom configurations
• Experience in automating tasks with scripting languages like PowerShell, or Python
