Job summary
A leading IT Systems Integrator is seeking a Build Engineer/DevOps to implement solutions in a .NET/Microsoft environment. The role requires strong development experience along with expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and VSTS Build. Responsibilities include working closely with engineering teams to define release requirements, enhancing automation processes, and ensuring code quality. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent experience. Compensation ranges between $55-60/hr on a contract basis.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 years development experience in a .NET/Microsoft environment.
- Experience with CICD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or VSTS Build.
- Strong understanding of coding standards such as MVC, SOA, and web APIs.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement upcoming release requirements with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate communication to increase development velocity and efficiency.
- Work with automation teams to improve UI and performance.
Skills
Development experience in .NET environment
Unit testing experience
Release management experience
Experience with ALM and Agile practices
Experience with cloud solutions, preferably Azure
Education
Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent
