Job summary

CompQsoft is seeking a seasoned software engineer in Leesburg, VA to join an Agile development team delivering microservices and secure DoD-focused solutions.

You will develop in modern languages (Python/Java/C#/Go/C++), implement event-driven and serverless patterns, drive end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes/cloud environments, and operate within a government/DoD DevSecOps context requiring TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software development experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
• Proficient in at least one modern language (Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++).
• Experience with microservices, event-driven, serverless patterns, and end-to-end CI/CD to Kubernetes/cloud environments.

Description

• 5+ years software development in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), coding in at least one modern language (Python, Java, C#, Go, C++), using microservices/event-driven/serverless patterns, Git-based workflows, and end-to-end CI/CD to Kubernetes/cloud/virtualized environments.
• 2+ years applying DevSecOps with automated security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanners) as CI/CD gates in government/DoD DevSecOps environments (OSA, Platform One, or equivalent).
• 2+ years coding and integrating resilient architectures for DDIL, afloat/ashore PaaS (ACS, CHE, etc.), including secure integration with Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS).

Requirements

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI or TS/SCI-eligible with Tier 5.
