Job summary

FedEx seeks an experienced leader to coordinate system requirements, program specs, and code/unit tests to meet business needs on major projects. You will guide test development, resolve complex production issues, and mentor less senior engineers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of IT/engineering experience with strong programming skills, IBM systems, LMS, and OO/case tool expertise. Expect on-site duties with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum Experience: Five (5) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in programming languages; strong communication; experience with IBM operating systems or microprocessors; LMS experience; client/server, OO development, or CASE tools; knowledge of software engineering principles.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
