Job Summary
The Programmer Analyst 6 (.NET C# Developer) will serve as a contract resource supporting the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and the Department of Health and Human Services. This role combines application development and systems analysis to provide maintenance, enhancements, and technical support for a wide range of mission‑critical MDHHS applications. Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and enhance multiple health and human services applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful web service interfaces and Web APIs.
- Write and optimize complex SQL SELECT, INSERT, and UPDATE operations.
- Develop code enabling users to upload documents via website functionality.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM sprint cycles and collaborate with sprint teams.
- Use GIT for version control and source code management.
- Develop unit tests and regression testing frameworks.
- Perform front‑end work using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of .NET Core 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C#.
- 5+ years with REST services or Web APIs.
- 5+ years of SQL experience with complex query development.
- 3+ years coding document upload capabilities for web apps.
- 5+ years working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
- 5+ years using GIT repositories.
- 5+ years developing unit and regression tests.
- Hands‑on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Nice‑to‑Have Experience
- 5+ years developing secure websites using industry best practices (XSS, SQL injection prevention, logging controls).
- 3+ years working with Azure DevOps or TFS boards and repositories.
- Familiarity with SendGrid.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility requirements.
- Experience with identity provider (IdP) integrations using OIDC or SAML.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps.
