Job summary

W3Global in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced CNC programmer to plan and develop programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers. You will program CNC machines using Mastercam and Vericut, design fixtures for manufacturing, and establish standard work procedures.

Strong GD&T knowledge, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential. 2+ years aerospace machining experience is required.

Qualifications

Job description

Plan and develop CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers. Program CNC machines using advanced cutting tools and technology. Design fixtures for manufacturing products. Develop CNC programs primarily using Mastercam. Establish CNC programming standard work procedures as part of a virtual qualification system interfaced with Mastercam and Vericut.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an aerospace or aircraft machine shop.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing principles.
• Experience programming with Mastercam.
• Experience programming multi-axis CNC machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) is required.

Requirements
