Electrical Insulation Suppliers (EIS) in Canton, GA seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to develop and optimize Mastercam-based CNC programs for parts and fixtures. You will troubleshoot real-time, adjust programs on the machining floor using G-code, and collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
You will simulate and test programs before production, document processes, and drive continuous improvement while training production staff on setups and fixtures.

As a Programmer, you will provide guidance to production personnel on CNC programs and fixtures, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. You will assist in troubleshooting common issues but will refer disciplinary matters to Production Management.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must ensure the accuracy of information and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a CNC machining environment is acceptable. Proficiency in Mastercam or similar software is essential.
Language skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey job instructions and technical information clearly.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to convert metric units correctly and apply the conversions to practical situations.
