Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

(Include the following; however, other duties may apply.)

  • Perform capacity planning by analyzing resource availability, equipment utilization, and labor constraints to ensure production schedules are realistic and achievable.
  • Adjust plans proactively to align with shop floor capabilities and workload balance.
  • Responsible for the creation, processing, and closing of all stock production jobs.
  • Ensure cost (material + labor) is properly accounted for on all stock jobs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and stakeholders to understand production requirements and priority timelines.
  • Create and execute priority plans for component-level production.
  • Communicate with engineering regarding machining times and material yield issues.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for key product groups and components, including PPG, Steris, Oil & Gas, Frac Balls, and Elements.
  • Communicate stock levels, replenishment timelines, and shipping schedules with production and customer service teams.
  • Coordinate the acquisition of finished goods labels from designated Customer Service contacts.
  • Work with Materials Management to ensure adequate raw material availability for all stock programs.
  • Monitor production schedule adherence, identify deviations, and take corrective action to minimize delays.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and issues that may impact stock production timelines.
  • Train and mentor team members on planning systems and schedule adherence best practices.
  • Leverage project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Epicor, Smartsheet) to build, monitor, and adjust production plans.
  • Utilize data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to generate reports, monitor performance, and support planning decisions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent stock programs while ensuring alignment with inventory strategies and customer requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy of planning records and updates to support real-time production readiness.
  • Provide planning guidance to cross-functional stakeholders to reinforce schedule adherence and optimize throughput.
  • Language skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey job instructions and technical information clearly.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations; ability to convert metric units correctly and apply the conversions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
