PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT OFFICER at DESA. Grade: P-3. Location: New York, United States. Application deadline: 3 November 2026. Under the supervision of the Chief, Programme Management Section, and overall guidance of the Director, Statistics Division, the Programme Management Officer will manage the project on Statistical Capacity Development in China and other Developing Countries as follows:

• Participates in the development and implementation of the Division’s project on Statistical Capacity Development in China and other Developing Countries; monitors and analyzes project development and implementation; reviews relevant documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and initiates corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties; ensures follow-up actions.
