Upstate Caring Partners, Inc. is seeking a Programmatic Training Specialist to boost staff performance through onboarding and on-site coaching at our Utica location. You will facilitate new hire orientation, track training completion, and ensure job readiness across programs.

Core duties include organizing orientations, maintaining the training database, delivering diverse instructional methods, coaching teams, and evaluating program effectiveness while upholding HIPAA and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, HR or related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in adult education or orientation coordination.
• Proficiency in computer programs (Windows, Outlook, Adobe, Word, Excel).
• Travel is required. Must have valid NYS Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Direct structured learning experiences in program.
• Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors.

• Train and coach new hires as well as existing employees.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness.
• Adhere to mandatory abuse reporting laws and HIPPA requirements.

The Programmatic Training Specialist will enhance the competencies employees by conducting training programs that are designed to boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with company’s core mission, vision and values. The primary responsibility of this role will be to facilitate new hire onboarding through orientation, on-site coaching, observation, tracking completion of required training and ensuring job readiness.

Pay $22.00 - $25.00 / hour

Core Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
• Serve as point of contact for orientation for new staff and trainers.
• Assist in maintaining the training database for all Agency trainings.
• Assist in scanning training records.
• Direct structured learning experiences in program.
• Plan, organize, and implement a range of training activities.
• Schedule classes based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors.
• Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
• Train and coach new hires as well as existing employees.
• Conduct general and divisional orientation sessions to assess level of skills.
• Complete ongoing, on-site observation and assessments of skills of new hires while shadowing them on their assigned shifts (weekend, evenings, etc) at their program location.
• Help existing employees improve on or enhance existing skills while in program.
• Train and develop managers in coaching skills.
• Assist management team training existing staff on critical competencies, such as conflict resolution, time management, etc…
• Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness.
• Create monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
• Evaluate training materials prepared by curriculum development, such as outlines, text, and handouts and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
• Adhere to mandatory abuse reporting laws and HIPPA requirements.
• Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.
• Acts as a liaison between training department and program to ensure consistent processes are being followed on site.
• Assist in standardizing processes across the agency.
