Job summary

Meador Manufacturing, a family-owned precision CNC shop in Walton Hills, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to join the team. You will program, set up, and optimize Citizen-lathe machining for high-precision parts, interpreting drawings and selecting tools to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming and setting up CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen experience highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of G-code, CNC machining principles, and precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and optimize CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen machines) for complex, high-precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop efficient G-code programs.
• Select tooling, perform machine setups, and make offsets/adjustments for optimal production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, run test parts, and ensure tight tolerances and superior quality.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality control, and engineering teams to continuously improve processes.
• Maintain documentation including programs, setup sheets, and tool lists.

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to join our growing team and help drive precision manufacturing excellence using our Citizen A20 Swiss Lathes and related equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Program, set up, and optimize CNC Swiss lathes (strong focus on Citizen machines) for complex, high-precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop efficient G-code programs (CAM software experience a plus).
• Select tooling, perform machine setups, and make offsets/adjustments for optimal production.
