A leading healthcare provider in Rhode Island is seeking a Program Therapist for their Intensive Outpatient Program. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with various psychosocial issues, utilizing cognitive-behavioral interventions to enhance their psychosocial functioning. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree, relevant licensure, and experience in psychiatric settings, particularly with OCD and anxiety disorders.
Under the supervision of the Program Manager and the Program Unit Chief, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a wide range of psychosocial problems. Applies individual and group cognitive-behavioral interventions to assist patients and their families in resolving personal and environmental issues related to psychiatric conditions, aiming to achieve the highest level of psychosocial functioning. Demonstrates ethical and collaborative behavior to ensure quality care and foster positive departmental and program relationships.
